GOD SAVE THE PARTY

Rahul Gandhi says right to protest has to be respected. By showing his presence at the JUN gathering, Rahul Gandhi has shown less of leadership and revealed more about his understanding of issues.

Right to protest is a fundamental right given by constitution in a democracy and Indian democracy has this. Freedom comes with some constraints and as GBS says “your freedom ceases to exists where my nose starts” when a person citing his freedom starts brandishing his walking stick and precisely this concept of freedom and its constraints have been missed by Rahul Gandhi.

Protests against corruption, pay rise, price rise, rising crime or any such thing is okay. It is certainly not okay when a platform is used to eulogize a terrorist, to eulogize an antinational and supporting it is a serious flaw in once understanding. What happened in JNU is precisely that. The function and so called cultural programme was used to eulogize AFZAL GURU.

God save the Congress party.

POOR COORDINATION BETWEEN VARIOUS CIVIC AGENCIES

HAL old airport road near HAL Helicopter Division and going towards Marathahalli, was done up complete with cobbled pavements few months back (about 5 – 6 months). Before even the dust settled and the finishing touches dried, 7/ 8 days back a telecom company (most probably Reliance – I was not able to confirm this) has started digging and has almost destroyed the pavement.

Some photographs are attached. To see for yourself and judge. What a waste of taxpayer’s money being blatantly wasted because of Bureaucratic complacency coupled with  not paying heed to coordinate between agencies which carry out civic works and legislative wings for not having proper policy and vision resulting in shoddy work all over. In Bangalore roads are perpetually under construction.

The roads are made, redug, shoddy finishing properly, the debri is not cleaned and before the final touches are carried out, it is dug by some other agency. This is a same story. Many times newspapers have written on it, cartoons are made but this is there in Bangalore, may be more of a design for corruption than anything else.

Few years back I had written on my blog RASHTRAVRAT http://www.rashtravrat.blogspot.in/2011/05/case-study-of-road.html  about it and it really hurts when I see it happening everywhere.
